DBM to publish magazine for IDC-USA
January 14, 2010 – Direct Business Media (DBM) is pleased to announce that it has signed an agreement with IDC-USA to publish the distributor cooperative’s publication IDC Industrial Review.
Published two times a year, IDC Industrial Review reaches about 15,000 end-users with pertinent information aimed at helping them keep their facilities, shops, plant floors and other businesses running efficiently, enabling them to remain competitive in today’s global marketplace. The publication also communicates the value of doing business with IDC Distributors.

DBM publishes Industrial Supply and Contractor Supply magazines, the Specialty Tools and Fasteners Distributors Association STAFDA Member Directory and the Industrial Supply Association ISA Annual Membership Directory.
Industry Veterans Launch New Publishing Group
Company to serve industrial and construction industry B2B professionals
March 24, 2009 -- Direct Business Media, LLC (DBM) is a new publishing group launched by well-known trade publishing veterans to serve industrial and construction equipment, tool and supply channel professionals.
DBM will produce print magazines, Web sites, e-newsletters, directories for industry associations and trade groups and provide information and marketing services to select industrial and construction industry clientele.
DBM includes Bob Stange, current publisher of the STAFDA Directory; Rich Vurva, publisher of the ISA Annual Membership Directory and former publisher/editor of Progressive Distributor magazine and Web site; Chris McClimon, former publisher of Construction Supply magazine and Web site; and Tom Hammel, former editorial director of Construction Supply magazine.
They are joined by Linda Scott-McCabe, chief financial officer; Patty O’Mera, M & M Media Group, national accounts manager; and Deb Pierce, production manager.
Stange, McClimon, Vurva, Scott-McCabe and Hammel share ownership of the privately funded firm, which is headquartered in Fort Atkinson, Wis.
In mid-2009, DBM will launch Contractor Supply magazine and Industrial Supply magazine.
Contractor Supply is an 18,000-plus bi-monthly magazine that will reach construction equipment, tool and fastener distributors. Industrial Supply magazine, a 30,000 circulation bi-monthly publication, will serve industrial distributors in the United States. Each magazine focuses on best business practices of distributors in their respective markets, reports on industry trends, news and events, and provides information on the products sold and distributed by the readers served by the publications.
